Memorial Day Mass

There will be a Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, May 29, Memorial Day at the Mary Mother of Mercy Mausoleum Chapel. Celebrated by Archabbot Douglas R. Nowicki, O.S.B., the Mass will honor those who have died while served in our Armed Forces. Tours will be available throughout the Memorial Day weekend between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Flags are flying in the Saint Vincent Cemetery to honor those who served this Memorial Day.

The cemetery honors veterans of all wars by placing a flag on each veteran’s grave. Between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. the cemetery staff will also be available to gather information on each veteran buried in Saint Vincent Cemetery and interred at the Mary Mother of Mercy Mausoleum Chapel as part of an ongoing project to honor veterans. Family members of veterans and friends of veterans are invited to stop in during those hours, or to email information to info@saintvincentcemetery.com.
